After a nerve-racking battle, the VO65 Team Brunel finished in third position. The next race will start in 2022, under a new name: The Ocean Race, in which the VO65 class will participate again. As we prepare for this race, we welcome \"fans and friends\" on board. In the summer of 2019, we made several trips from our home port of Scheveningen to Kiel, Stockholm, Aarhus and Southampton, among others. We broke the Gotland Runt record, sailed the Fastnet Race and sailed Pro-Ams against Team Akzo Nobel.<\/p>\n<p>Sailing Holland, owner of the VO65, has entered into a partnership with the World Childhood Foundation, founded by the Swedish queen Silvia. The foundation is committed to protecting children against child abuse and sexual abuse. External investors are funding the campaign, with the ambition to participate in the Ocean Race in 2022-23, under the Swedish-Dutch flag. The main goal is to generate attention and brand awareness for the CHILDHOOD foundation.<\/p>\n<p>By sailing along with the VO65 Childhood you invest in the brand awareness of the Childhood foundation. In addition, a trip with the VO65 is an experience that you will never forget. On board everyone gets the chance to help; steering, hoisting the sails or helping on the foredeck. During an offshore you participate in the waiting system and you are fully part of the crew.
